S-03Position

The buildings are getting bigger. The wood is still wood. The crew matters.

FineLine frames turnkey — multifamily, commercial, glulam and heavy timber, exterior trim, and labor-only crews when that is what the job calls for. Every hand on the frame is in-house. No piecemeal subs, no handoffs, and safety as the highest priority on every deck.

S-07About

The Outfit

John “Buck” Smith has been framing across the southeast since 1995. In 2008 he founded FineLine Construction in Raleigh — and kept the thing that makes a frame go up straight and on schedule: crews that answer to the company, not to a broker. Thirty years on, those crews are still on FineLine decks — now under tower cranes on podium multifamily jobs across the Triangle.
